Autumn hill road

heading home from Broch Conference, Applecross. Saturday 2nd Oct. Stags roaring & rutting in the hills, saw one close to the road black from rolling in the peat with mud & grass in his antlers ( by the time I stopped van, got camera etc, he was blurry in the gloom ). The Bealach hill pass is due to close for major repairs this week- its about to collapse, so who knows when I’ll photograph that route again!

It's hard going on the #hands in these low #winter temperatures. Some #fragiletape brings relief to hacked spilt fingers but is no use for #throwingpottery. My left ✋ hand is also seizing up a bit.
