Balnacra Arts & Pottery by Vicky Stonebridge

Ceangal- show and final day.

My poor camera finally gave up in protest and broke the last day of Ceangal, the day of the actual show. So here are my last snaps with phone instead!
The show was at the new GALE centre, loads of people came to the preview day, the drill hall was also open with all the working drawings and such on display for one day only.

We had a great meal of Haggis Neeps and whisky that night, and boy did we need a dram after all that work ! Sunday, those of us left went for a wee tour of the on-site works, we were joined by some other interested folks which was nice. There was a fantastic picnic at Rua Reidh lighthouse and a good chance to recharge the batteries clambering about some rocks. Somu made a Biryani for the 5 000 that night, then the mood turned quiet and sombre as one by one, people said their good byes. That was it Ceangal 2012 was over. Back to real life and a massive amount of work to catch up with everything else after two weeks away playing at real ART.
