Balnacra Arts by Vicky Stonebridge

Spring cleaning, gathering and creating.

I’ve been having spring cleans, but having a recycling compulsion, clear outs turn into making sessions. I found some awful offensive womens magazines which are just begging to be cut up ironically.

Also thought i’d try some health and safety violating plastic melting, shiny, but a little hard to control…. I’m working on it. vessels and containers are useful, old CD’s are not.

Every time of year is a time to gather from sustainable sources.  Stick hunting in the sunshine has been great!

It was great to meet Yogesh Mahida today, an artist from Gujarat. He's worked with a few mutual friends so it was lovely to meet him myself at last. He threw a cracking big bowl while at the studio, great skills! #masterpotter #artist #ceramics #pottery #wheelthrown #bowl #clay
