Easter Eggs

Time escalated and ran away with me, no time for Easter  no time for family or crafts, bunnies and chicks, artwork with hares and yellow flowers, no tissue paper or chocolate. But i did snatch a moment to slow it down and observe the festival on Easter Sunday  no children left at home to go looking for chocolate eggs in the woods, hunting for the fairy gifts. So i painted up some of my own eggs and took them on a hunt instead. They liked the woods, but as dusk gathered thought a swim would make a nice break from the routine roll down a hill. They loved swimming on the incoming tide. i caught some video with my phone, one day i’ll edit this up,  mesmorising the way they moved in the water. Then being greedy, i made two not one wishes this year and sent the eggs off into the deep as a gift to the Loch Easter fairies instead of the Hill ones. I wonder if some oyster catcher found them at low tide & tried to hatch them?
