Surf Awards presentation

Following our community project with the Kirkton Woodland and Heritage Group winning a Surf award this winter for Creative Community regeneration, I will be heading down to Glasgow for next Thursday to deliver a presentation on our project at the event below. Of course part of the problems we face in remote rural communities is transport and distances,  illustrated by how long it will take me to get down to glasgow and back for this, next week is going to be one of those massive marathons zig zagging from west to east to south and back around again. Its also a big problem for me getting dog sitting organised, i wish every venue had a doggie creche! However i’m sure it will be an interesting experience, now to wrestle power point into obedience!
