Fundraising Hearts for Ukraine

When Russian troops invaded Ukraine at the end of February we were all horrified, helplessly watching this horrors of war unfold. I decided to try and raise some funds by making ad selling small pottery hearts painted in the iconic Ukrainian flag colours. I chose hearts because they are something that everyone can join in with and easily make. Lots of volunteers joined in and have been helping to make, paint, clean up, fire & sell these. I am donating the time, firing costs and materials. 100% of the proceeds are going to the Red Cross Ukrainian Disasters Emergency Committee humanitarian appeal.
Many thanks to everyone who has helped make them, sold them for us, or bought some.
So far we have raised £1345 and counting.
