some old pottery photos

So I’m rummaging around some archive discs to find something for work, no can find, but i do stumble upon some old photos of ours & thought i’d share, as a rare nostalgic indulgence.

a pot about 30 cm across and high, from 2003

 a plate around 16cm across, 2003.

melted stained glass shards, these round coasters 2003, i did 10cm tiles like this in the thousands, i guess some they’re still out there in kitchens bathrooms and installations.

wolf plate summer 2003>

My shop/ studio in the snow. Build in 2001, rented out in 2005 sold..? around 2010? for £1600 .  Its being rented out at the moment but sadly is empty & not being used. Strangely enough though by community post that i currently have involves the same site, so I’m back up there in many ways, the Treehouse is not far from here.

same day looking back out.  2003, ahh behold the wonderful cast iron mangle i used to use to roll out slabs of clay. Had to sell that, along with big kiln etc, when i moved on, nowhere to store it at home.
Right that’s enough of that for now ! back to the present …whoosh!

… unless you want to see me looking happy with a pile of swords ?

or some historical chaps having a fight next to the shop & Smithy site ?  a reenactment thing i organised there, 2008.

Very annoyed at this vandal who's been cutting down trees that don't belong to them in a small copse of trees i walk through everyday. If they're poor and desperate for firewood there's tonnes of felled seasoned logs just 12m away. Or fallen trees blocking paths nearby. Or other places not far which need thinning out. Some people have no sense of a place, no respect for nature, no regard for the environment or how precious native trees are. I'm going to track them down, i take trees seriously. 😢 🌲💕
